The essence of chi kung is chi flow. It is chi flow, not the chi kung exercise itself, that gives chi kung benefits like overcoming illness, good health, longevity, mental clarity and spiritual joys. To have chi flow, a practitioner must enter into a chi kung state of mind.

Besides generating a chi flow, entering into a chi kung state of mind enables a practitioner to have better results no matter what he (or she0 does! There are many levels of the chi kung state of mind, the most fundamental is to be relaxed and focused at the same time.

For convenience, chi kung attainments may be classified into 3 levels:

  1. Health
  2. Peak Performance
  3. Spiritual Cultivation

Generally to achieve these 3 levels of attainments the chi kung process is focused on:

  1. Circulating energy
  2. Nourishing energy
  3. Expanding energy
