STEPPING ON A BOXER OR FELLING HIM ONTO THE GROUND

Taijiquan, Tai Chi Chuan

If you step on a Boxer's leg, he has no technique in his Boxing repertoire to defend against you

Chasing after a Boxer is a very important tactic as Boxer often bounces away. It is important that you do not leave a gap in between when you chase. It is also very important to cover him adequately. But if you want to prevent him from running away, you can step on his foot or fell him onto the ground. This is giving a Boxer little or no chance against your attacks.
