CRUSHING FIST OF PRAYING MANTIS KUNGFU
There are many sets, or routines of fixed arrangement of kungfu movements, in Praying Mantis Kungfu. But many beginners start with Crushing Fist, and many masters practice it.
Crushing Fist includes all the important patterns in Praying Mantis Kungfu. You should spend at least 3 months practicing the set. Be relaxed in your practice, use internal force, not brute strength, which you have developed in stance training and the selection of Eighteen Lohan Art.
You must be very familiar with the patterns in the set, so familiar and fluent that you can perform them quite spontaneously. Only when your patterns are spontaneous, should you start to learn their combat application.
