STANCE TRAINING FOR COMBAT EFFICIENCY AND PEAK PERFORMANCE

Stance training, or "zhan zhuang" in Chinese, is one of the best ways to develop internal force for combat efficiency. It is a relaxation exercise, not an endurance test.

There are two important steps in stance training. One, make sure the posture is correct. Two, relax, relax and relax.

Start with a comfortable time, say about 3 minutes, and gradually in three months work up to about 15 minutes or more.
