CHI SAU OR STICKING HANDS TO DEVELOP COMBAT SKILLS

"Chi Sau" or "Sticking Hands" is very important in Wing Choon Kungfu. Its function is to develop combat skills, like being relaxed, sensing, following the momentum of the opponent, and developing internal force. It is free, not fixed to a definite routine.

When my sifu, Sifu Choe Hoong Choy, the Patriarch of Choe Family Wing Choon, went back to China to learn for more than two years from his sigung, i.e. my sitaigung, all he did was Chi Sau.
