TAMING AND LOCKING AN OPPONENT AND SIMULTANEOUSLY STRIKING HIM

Wing Choon Kungfu

Locking an opponent's arms and simultaneously striking his head

An effective attacking tactic is to tame or lock your opponent's hands and simultanously strike him. Not many people know how to defend against such attacks. Grandmaster Wong recalls that in his younger days of sparring, he was once caught by surprise by a Karate master, and did not know what to do.

Such a tactic was not even a special feature of Karate. You can imagine how combat effective you will be if you spend some time mastering this tactic. This part of the Wing Choon course deals with this feature, i.e. taming or locking an opponent's hands and simultaneously striking him. As a side-note, that Karate master later learned from Grandmaster Wong.
