"Cover and Strike" is a good tactic against a Boxer

After you are very safe with a Boxer;s jabs and crosses, you can progress to covering and striking him. "Cover and strike" is a very good tactic against a Boxer's jabs and crosses. You cover his attacks after deflecting them, and immediately strike him. If he is too far away, you have to move in a step. Be careful not to push him away, in which case you mar not reach him with your strike.
