EFFECTIVENESS OF GUARD-HAND IN FIGHTING AGAINST BOXERS
In fighting against a Boxer, the guard-hand is very important. Combined with body-movement you can overcome the forte of Boxing, which is speed. The guard-hand is used mainly to deflect a Boxer's jabs and crosses, but sometimes it may be used to intercept his attacks. Aim the guard-hand at his vital points, like his throat or eyes.
