TECHNIQUES, TACTICS AND SKILLS IN TAIJIQUAN COMBAT
Do you know the difference between techniques and tactics? Four techniques are found in Combat Sequence 1 of Old Eagle Catches Snake. The fourth technique uses the tactic of "double attack" or "continuous attack". You should also know the difference between techniques and tactics on one hand, and skills on the other. Even when your opponent knows what techniques and tactics you are going to apply, but if you are skilful you can still overwhelm him.
