My wife, me, my children and grandchildren are in excellent health and happiness. We haven't been sick at all for as long as I remember.

I also have an experience that I would like to ask you about for advice.

Answer

You asked a dragon for advice. In your dream it was interesting that you used correctly the tiger-claw of "Four Gates".

"Four Gates" is an interesting set. There are many uses of "Four Gates", especially while squatting down.

Question 3

Would Sitaigung Xan Yin's mind be at such a high level of consciousness that he was able to change yin-yang harmony through heart to heart transmission with those listening to him?

Answer

Sifu Xan Yin is the greatest chi kung master. It is a pleasure to say that he practices Cosmos Chi Kung. His type of Cosmos Chi Kung is very old.

It is normal to refer to him as "Sifu Xan Yin", although he is a "sitaigung" to you.

When he was speaking to a large group of people, and they moved by listening to him, I was beginning to teach chi kung in Penang, Malaysia, and Bukit Mertajam (a town near Penang), Malaysia.

Did Sitaigung Xan Yin attain such a level of consciousness through qigong and meditation?

Answer

Sifu Xan Yin did not "enter Zen" (or meditation). He just spoke like ordinary person.

Question 5

I sometimes wonder if it is possible to be in a chi kung state of mind and still watch thoughts passing by. I do sometimes get carried away by my thoughts, but the end result of my practice generates a chi flow.

Answer

When you are in a "chi kung state of mind", you are relaxed and focused at the same time. Having thoughts passed by is having thoughts passed by.

You can generate a chi flow because you perform below your potential. If you perform at your potential, you will have over-trained, which is bad.

They then are clearer on the difference between qigong forms as a gentle exercise and genuine qigong.

Answer

Practicing chi kung and practicing gentle, physical exercise are serious problems. Most people do not realize they perform gentle, physical exercise.

They can default to Lifting the Sky as it is the best overall pattern.

Answer

"Lifting the Sky" is my favourite. It is easy to perform, and the results come quite fast. If it is performed wrongly, the adverse effects are not serious.

Answer

Mark should address you as "Sifu", not as "James". We have to be strict on this protocol.

Mark probably thinks of chi kung as gentle, physical exercise. We not only practice chi kung, but high-level chi kung.

Chi kung gives good health, vitality and longevity; high-level chi kung gives, besides good health, vitality and longevity, peak performance and spiritual joys irrespective of religion or the lack of one.
