SIU LIN TOU - PART 3
PHEW CHEE OR THRUSTING FINGERS IN VIDEO
"Phew Chee" which means "Thrusting Fingers", the third of the Wing Choon trilogy, is a good example of profundity in simplicity. The set looks simple, but is very profound in combat application.
"Phew Chee" exemplifies a complete martial art. It is by itself not only sufficient to handle any forms of attacks – striking, kicking, felling and chin-na - but also provides good training to promote health, vitality and longevity.
In other words, without having to borrow from other martial styles, without having to punch sand-bags, lift weights and run long distance, and without having to perform other chi kung exercises or take food supplements, but by just practicing "Phew Chee" you can have sufficient force, speed and techniques to be combat efficient, as well as have good health and vitality to enjoy your work and play for a long, long time.
Of course these benefits are obtained not just by performing the forms. There are secrets, and you will learn them at the Special Wing Choon Course. To prepare yourself beforehand, just learn the routine of the set so that at the course you can focus on learning the skills.
