COUNTERS AGAINST MUAY THAI ATTACKS
A Muay Thai fighter never attacks with individual techniques; he always attacks in a sequence. His is sequence-fighting. Course participants practice a popular Muay Thai sequence of attacks, consisting of a front leg tap, a cross jab, an elbow strike and continuous knee jabs. We can choose to counter at any point of his attacks. Notice that we do not block his attack, like his elbow or knee strike, but deflect it.
