To make the course more interesting and rewarding, course participants suggested combat applications of the patterns in the Eighteen-Collection Set. They came out with very useful applications.

This is amazing, considering that the course participants just learnt the set, whereas there are many Praying Mantis practitioners who do not know the applications of the patterns they have practiced for years. Nevertheless, this may not be so surprising as there are many Shaolin Wahnam instructors in the class.
