May I please request for Sifu to check if I have understood the One-Finger Gold method correctly?

Answer

The fingers should be at the end and the arms should be straight out in front.

I believe your stance is too low; it is almost box-shape. It should be about 5 to 10 degrees to your hips.

If your stance is higher, but not too high, it is both more comfortable and easier.

Yes, Master Damian Kissey is a wonderful teacher. I appreciate it more and more since the years passed.

My Siheng, Sifu Tim Franklin, is also a brilliant teacher and kungfu fighter. I enjoy his Cotton Palm course immensely and will be proud to say I got Cotton Palm from Siheng Tim.

Answer

The family member who had severe depression and suicidal thoughts due to job loss, was now with a new job and full of joy, is an example we could follow. We always have good thoughts for ourselves and other people.

This is a guiding principle that comes from genuine masters, and is guided by Guan Yin Bodhisattva, Immortal Li and other divine beings. We should try to imagine the feelings of the patients.

The world is full of suffering, but we always look for joy. The best method in the phenomenal world is the "Small Universe". It is a wonderful art. The early masters who practiced the "Small Universe" must have undergone a lot of experiences.

What is the best exercise for healers to protect their own aura when healing patients?

Answer

The best exercise for healers to protect their own aura is "chi flow". We should teach "chi flow" to patients to protect themselves.

Whatever viruses are killed immediately. They also have good health, and if we practice regularly, we should also have vitality and longevity -- the reasons to practice chi kung, including good health.

We should note that chi kung is written as "qigong" and chi as "qi" in normal English.

How do you be compassionate yet simultaneously remain detached when healing a patient?

Answer

A healer should disconnect immediately. He (or she) should put down his (or her) hand, which which to send chi, immediately.

The best exercises are "Lifting the Sky", "Carrying the Moon" and "Pushing Mountain". That is why I teach them at the Intensive Chi Kung course. I always have the students in mind.

I am compassionate yet simultaneously remain detached when healing patients because of my nature. By nature, I am compassionate. I forgive those whom have wronged me. I forget memories of injustice because life is too short.

What are the many benefits and differences of Small Universe and medical Big Universe?

Answer

The "Small Universe" is to let chi go round the "ren" and the "du" meridians, which are in front of and at the back of the body. The "medical Big Universe" is to let chi go through the 12 primary meridians.

They are different. The "Small Universe" concerns 2 meridians, which are very important, whereas the "medical Big Universe" concerns 12 meridians, which go through the organs.

The "Small Universe" gives us good health, vitality and longevity. Besides good health, vitality and longevity, we also have peak performance and spiritual joys irrespective of religion or the lack of one.

The "medical Big Universe" and the "spiritual Big Universe", besides good health, vitality and longevity, enable us to feel we are the universe and to live beyond a hundred years.

There is the "spiritual Big Universe", where chi permeates the whole body. In the final stage, the chi of the "spiritual Big Universe" becomes the universe.

In some schools, the "Small Universe", the "medical Big Universe" and the "spiritual Big Universe" are called the "Small Cosmos" and the "Big Cosmos". We in Shaolin Wahnam differentiate between the medical and the spiritual, but other schools do not.

Please could you explain about the Taoist six healing sounds and how it can benefit a person?

Answer

The Taoist six healing sounds are "su", "shu", "hu", "si", "chu" and "xi". They are meant to circulate chi.

I do not use them; I prefer other methods.

What are the best chi kung healing exercises for women's issues such as menstruation and hormonal imbalance?

Answer

The best chi kung healing exercises are "Lifting the Sky", "Carrying the Moon" and "Pushing Mountain", perform individually or in a set of three exercises.

That is why I teach them in my Intensive Chi Kung course. A healer should have the heart of a parent.
