FOOTWORK IS OFTEN MORE IMPORTANT THAN TECHNIQUES
Some kungfu practitioners have the mis-conception that the term "ma-bo" refers only to stances, especially the Horse Stance. Actually "ma" refers to stances and "bo" refers to footwork. It may come as a surprise to many students that footwork is often more important than techniques in winning combat.
